DIRECT SHIPPER LICENSE
PERMIT FEES: See fees
License effective one year from date of issue, annual renewal required.
1. Non-refundable $300 Application Fee. (Checks should be made payable to the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission.)
2. The $150 License Fee. (Checks should be made payable to the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission.)
3. Application Form filled out completely, notarized and mailed with payment to TABC, Nashville office. Downloadable Form AB-0098.
4. A copy of Applicant’s Certificate of Registration for Sales & Use Tax (Applicant may contact the TN Department of Revenue at 615-253-0601 for information about setting up an account).
5. A copy of the Gallonage Tax Letter issued by the Tennessee Department of Revenue, phone number 615/253-0600.
6. Copies of all contracts with common carriers that will ship wine from Applicant to Tennessee residents.
7. A copy of the Applicant’s organizational document e.g. corporate charter or articles of organization.
8. A copy of Applicant’s federal basic permit issued pursuant to the Federal Alcohol Administration Act.
9. List of Applicant’s authorized trade names (these are not required if you have a current Non-Resident Seller’s permit issued by the TABC).
10. A copy of Applicant’s Non-Resident Seller’s permit, if one has been issued by the TABC.
