COVID-19 Van Cleaning Procedures

Daily

·         Wipe or spray down frequently touched surfaces (seats, backs of seats, handrails, sides, etc.).

o    Be sure to use disinfectant

o    Read and follow directions on package

·         Provide hand sanitizer for individuals getting on/off van

·         Provide tissues and a trash can for easy disposal

Other tips

·         Do not clean directly before you pick up passengers, as this may pose challenges for individuals with respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, etc.

·         Place a “cover your cough” sign in the bus

·         When possible, increase ventilation by opening windows

·         When not at full capacity, encourage riders to sit separately
