Forest Protection

The Division of Forestry protects the state's forest resource through fighting disease, pests, and wildfire. The division also identifies areas of special merit, helping protect them through voluntary cooperation in the Forest Legacy Program. The Division helps cities promote and manage their green spaces through the Urban Forestry program.
