Ameriquest Mortgage Company, AMC, Mortgage Services, Inc. f/k/a Bedford Home Loans, and ACC Capital Holdings Corporation

As part of a multistate effort, Tennessee contended that Ameriquest, the nation’s largest sub-prime lender, engaged in unfair and deceptive predatory lending acts and practices. The State entered into a settlement which provided for strong injunctive relief, a payment of $310,000, and restitution of $326,633.59 for Ameriquest borrowers residing in Tennessee.
