GSK and its subsidiary, SB Pharmco, allegedly used substandard processes while manufacturing prescription drugs at its now closed plant in Cidra, Puerto Rico, which is a violation of the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act. As a result of the agreement, GSK and SB Pharmco are enjoined from making false, misleading or deceptive claims regarding the manufacturing of all drugs formerly manufactured at the Cidra facility regardless of where these drugs are now produced. This Office served on the leadership committee of this multistate case.
