Molly's Plant Food

On March 11, 2011, the Tennessee Attorney General's Office filed a lawsuit in Davidson County Chancery Court related to a synthetic drug sold under the name of Molly's Plant Food. The Court issued a temporary restraining order and seizure order to stop retail establishments from selling the product to consumers.

Public Chapter

• Public Chapter 169 makes it a Class A misdemeanor for a person or business to knowingly produce, manufacture, distribute, or sell any of the six listed synthetic derivatives or analogues of the Schedule I controlled substance methcathinone, which includes the chemicals found in the Molly's Plant Food product.
