Chattanooga Gas Company Rate Review, #06-00175
Chattanooga Gas Company is engaged in the business of transporting, distributing and selling natural gas in portions of Hamilton and Bradley counties.
On June 30, 2006, the company filed to increase rates. Subsequently, the Tennessee Regulatory Authority (TRA) approved an agreement between the Attorney General’s Office, Chattanooga Gas Company and the Chattanooga Manufacturers Association reducing the rate increase sought by Chattanooga Gas Company for the delivery of natural gas to its customers. The agreement saves ratepayers $2.3 million annually.
