Ms. Bobbie W. Tyler

Ms. Tyler was employed with the Department of Human Services, Adult Protective Services, working with families for over 30 years, and was a Supervisor for 20 years before her retirement. She has served on the APS Law Revision Committee and currently serves on the Alexian Brothers Community Services Ethics Committee and is a volunteer in other community projects. She is committed to improving life situations for the elderly and disabled including more choices, and her knowledge of elderly abuse laws has enabled her to work positively with Chancery Courts in Hamilton County as an advocate for the aging community. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Alabama State University and resides in Hixson, TN, and has two daughters and three grandchildren.
