Mr. Donald Glen Petree

Mr. Petree’s experience in community service is broad in both scope and specifics. As a current member and former Board member of the Appalachian/Knox Chapter of the Red Cross, two areas he addresses are military personnel and single-family emergencies. He is an Air Force Chaplin and also Chaplain for EMT-EMS first responder services in Campbell County, where he counsels, ministers, and assists with triage. Additional endeavors include Chair of the Campbell County Emergency Food and Shelter Program, Board member of Aid to Distressed Families-Appalachia, and Coordinator of Benevolence Ministry for the Campbell County Baptist Association. Mr. Petree advocates for the elderly through hands-on participation in the local LaFollette Senior Center, the Campbell County Council on Aging, and the East Tennessee Council on Aging and Disability.


Mr. Petree graduated from Cumberland College, Williamsburg, Kentucky, with a B.A. degree in Religion/Psychology, and holds a Master of Religion Education (MRE) in Senior Adult Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has augmented his education with training in Family Systems and Gerontology. Mr. Petree resides in Caryville, TN.
