Mr. Price is a member of Jones Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Greeneville, Tennessee, where he serves as Pastor’s steward and Chairman of the Board, chairman of the building fund, Sunday school teacher, and member of the choir. He has served as past coach for the Senior Games Ladies Basketball team. He is aware of, and interested in, the needs of the elderly and the community that he serves. He is a volunteer for the Greeneville RSVP and assists with other community projects involving activities of the elderly. He currently is serving as a TSSAA Basketball Official in the Smokey Mountain Association, which he as done for 37 years, and also coaches and is a baseball umpire for the City of Greeneville. He also is a weekend golfer. He is enrolled in computer classes at the Greeneville Center for Technology. He has been active in his church in planning programs and activities for the elderly and youth. He served five years on the Fun Day Committee at church, sponsoring an annual event for all ages. He has also assisted in delivering meals to the homebound elderly.
