Mission Statement

The Meigs County Senior Center Mission is to provide ways for Meigs County Senior Citizens to have a better quality of life by providing programs to promote and enrich education, better health, social situations, and friendships.

Information

Some Available Programs:

  • Exercise Class-We have all new exercise equipment, including a weight bench which one may do 36 different exercises.
  • Water aerobics- 45 min. water aerobics classes at the YMCA.
  • Sitting Tai Chi- We are now offering a sitting tai chi class.
  • Diabetic cooking class- healthy foods course.
  • Blood pressure checks- We have free blood pressure checks 2x a month given by nurses.
