  • Ms. Jane Johnson has been the Director of Social Services, since 2001, at Signature HealthCare of Erin, a for-profit corporation, located in Erin, TN. Prior to her employment with Signature HealthCare of Erin, she worked from 2000-2001 as a Case Manager at Centerstone Mental Health, as a Family Counselor from 1999-2000 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, as an Admissions Coordinator from 1995-1999 at General Care Convalescent Center, Clarksville, TN, and as an Admissions Coordinator from 1989-1994 at McKendree Village, Nashville, TN.

    Ms. Johnson’s qualifications include involvement in many community organizations. She advocates on behalf of the elderly and special needs persons by being aware of the needs within the community. She is very passionate and dedicated to serving others. Some of Ms. Johnson’s activities include the Houston County Health Council; a founder of the annual Houston County Health Fair; a founding member of the annual Memory Walk fundraising event in Clarksville, TN; provides social work needs for the senior living community; a volunteer member of the Adult Protective Services Multi-Disciplinary Team with the Tennessee Department of Human Services; a participant with the local Alzheimer’s Association; and involvement in activities serving the local communities of Houston and Montgomery County.

    Ms. Johnson’s management and leadership skills along with her education and experience bring great knowledge to the Commission.

    Ms. Johnson attended Tennessee State University and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. She has also received Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training at Erin Care & Rehab.
