Mr. Jordan has been an ordained minister for 36 years, serving churches in West Virginia, Texas, and Tennessee as Senior Pastor and associate Minister. Rev. Jordan and his churches have received many church growth awards across his years of ministry. Mr. Jordan has also served The Good Samaritan Center of Loudon County (an assistance ministry of the Churches of Loudon County) as a Board Member, Executive Director, past President and most recently the Director of Church and Community Relations. Mr. Jordan is an advocate for the underprivileged, elderly, single moms and the disabled.
Currently, Mr. Jordan is the Minister of Administration of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. He teaches a Senior Adult Sunday School class and fills the pulpit for various area pastors and churches in Loudon County. Ron and his wife Mary Sue reside in Lenoir City with two of the children (Reuben and Heather). Mr. Jordan has helped raise 10 children and has 11 grandchildren.

Senior Center-Office on Aging and Disability, affiliate member of East TN Elderwatch, Volunteer for United Way of Loudon County, member of Hope Resource Center Advisory Committee, Vice Chairman Relay for Life Loudon Co., member of the Community Advisory Council for Lenoir City High School, member of Community Advisory Board for the State of TN Dept of Human Services in Loudon County, member of Interagency Council for Social Services in Loudon County, Chairman of the Loudon County Emergency Food Board.
