Course Description
This course is provides the student with practical application of the skills learned in FI140 – Industrial Fire School. This course incorporates a variety of practical training drills and 12
scenarios including: search and rescue, structural fire attack and exterior fires. “Live” fire training evolutions are included.

Speical Notice
Students are required to provide their own full protective clothing according to NFPA and OSHA standards. Long-sleeve shirts and long pants are to be worn under the protective clothing at all times. TFACA has protective clothing & Self Containing Breathing Apparatus available for use during class for a fee. Students must be physically fit to perform fire fighting skills. Students shall be currently fit tested and shall meet or exceed the 2002 edition of NFPA Fire Department Occupational Safety And Health Program Standard # 1500 sec. 7.11 and the regulations of the Tennessee Occupational Safety & Health Administration (TOSHA) “Respiratory Protection Fit Testing” , CFR 1910.134 (f). The student shall be clean shaven in compliance with applicable standards so the student is capable of wearing self-contained breathing apparatus.
