This course addresses changes in the 2002 edition of the National Fire Protection 72 National Fire Alarm Code including: installation of household fire warning devices, types of detection, and notification equipment. Topics include: monitoring, power supply, testing and maintenance. The course additionally addresses current issues in fire protection such as evacuation, security and integrated building systems.
