| Course Description |
This course is designed for fire departments to practice responding to large scale emergencies. This course includes scenarios designed for departments to practice incident management skills which may include structure fires, exposure and evacuation issues in schools, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. Scenarios can also be tailored to meet a department’s needs. Pre-planning will precede each
scenario. Fire departments are required to provide company officers, driver/pump operators and fire fighters. A minimum of 15 people is required; (1- Incident Commander, 2-Company Officers, 2 Driver/Operator, and 10 Fire Fighters) Departments may join with additional departments if a mutual aid agreement is in place. |

Firefighters: Basic Firefighting FF100, Live Firefighting
FF110 or Certified Firefighter I
Driver/Operators: Introduction to Pumps FF111 and Emergency Vehicle
Driver Training FF115
Officers: NIMS FF177 |
