This course provides the student with basic instruction regarding the philosophy of using
TFIRS to document fire and other emergency incidents. Instruction enables students to
successfully promote, support, and manage TFIRS data collection and entry. Course delivery
includes standard lecture and hands-on computer data entry, retrieval, and analysis of results.
No prior computer experience is required. Basic computer navigation and familiarization is
part of the instruction.
