One of the most common presentations to a planning commission is the submittal of plans for land subdivision. This course covers the requirements; from conception to build-out, detailing major and minor subdivisions, lot configuration, frontage, grave/cemetery encounters, right-of-ways, easements and surveying theory. Instruction includes the use of local subdivision regulations and continues with local and state regulations governing proper land subdivision.
