This course discusses the preservation of local governments’ historical areas and encompasses the federal and state regulations as they pertain to obtaining jurisdiction as a recognized Historical Commission. Discussion also includes how to begin a historical district in your local community. Code provisions for maintaining and remodeling older, historical buildings are also covered.
