Laurel Hill Lake in Tennessee
General Description
Laurel Hill Lake is in Lawrence County Tennessee, approximately 15 miles west of Lawrenceburg. The lake is 325 acres and has a picnic area, restrooms, grills, vending machines, a primitive camping area.
The fishing facilities include a "youth-only" fishing area located near the office/concession building. (Youths 16 and under may fish in this area) Other fishing facilities include boat launching ramps, a fishing pier, boat rentals, and fish attractors.
Regulations
One embayment is for juvenile fishing, only youths 16 and under may fish. Nursery ponds may be closed as posted.
Largemouth Bass: 5 per day, 13–18 inch PLR. Only one (1) fish longer than 18 inches may be harvested.
Bluegill/Redear: 20 per day in combination, no length limit.
Crappie (all species): 15 per day, 10-inch minimum length limit.
Blue/Channel Catfish: 5 per day in combination, 14-inch minimum length limit.

Fishing Tips:
- Bluegill fishing with worms, crickets, and mealworms is most productive in the spring in shallow spawning areas.
- Look for bluegill on or near the bottom in deeper water in the hot temperatures of mid-summer.
