Use of motorized vehicles is prohibited.
Deer season closes on Dec. 9, 2023.
Archery equipment only for deer.
Waterfowl season closed for Sept. wood duck, and teal, and Canada goose.
Rabbit - Dec. 9, 2023, to the last day of Feb. on Saturday and Sunday only. Bag limit of three per day.
Squirrel - Aug. 26 - Sept. 22, 2023, and Dec. 10, 2023, to last day of Feb. 2024 and during spring squirrel season except as noted. Shotguns with No. 6 shot or smaller only.
Dove - Sept. 1 & 2, 2023. Noon to sunset only on Sept. 1, 2023.
Dog training - Sept. 1, 2023 - March 15, 2024. Beagles and pointing breeds only.
Site Description: McGlothin-Largen Wildlife Management Area is a 112-acre WMA located on the banks of Watts Bar Lake in Roane County, Tennessee. The WMA has fields planted in small grains, areas of old fields for wildlife cover, wooded fence rows, and an area of woods across Bowman Bend Road.
