INMATE WALKS AWAY FROM WORK RELEASE JOB SITE
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Internal Affairs agents with the Tennessee
Department of Correction and local authorities are looking for an inmate
who walked away from a work release site this morning. Antonio
Johnson, a minimum trustee, was granted parole in January 2005. He
is currently assigned to the Tennessee Bridges program at the Charles B.
Bass Correctional Complex in Nashville.
Johnson walked away from his assigned work release job
at the Shoney's Restaurant on 402 Harding Place and Nolensville Road,
and was reported missing at approximately 2:30 p.m. CDT.
Johnson was serving an eight-year sentence out of Shelby
County for Schedule II Drugs: Cocaine. On January 4, 2005,
he was granted parole and placed in the Tennessee Bridges program.
Pending his successful completion of the program, he would have been
paroled to the community.
Johnson is a 28-year old black male with brown eyes,
brown hair and a light complexion. He is 5'11" tall and
weighs approximately 150 lbs.
