INMATE ESCAPES FROM WORK RELEASE JOB SITE
Nashville, Tenn. -
Officials with the Tennessee Department of Correction, the Tennessee
Emergency Management Agency (TEMA), Tennessee Highway Patrol and Metro
Police are looking for an inmate who stole a state vehicle and drove
away from a work release site this morning. David Presley, a
minimum trustee, has been assigned to work release at TEMA since June 2,
2005.
Presley was reported missing at approximately 10:20 a.m.
CDT Friday and escaped in a TEMA state vehicle. The vehicle is a
white 2002 Dodge Ram Van, plate #S4MY93, marked with state seal
stickers, blue lights and antennas.
Presley was serving a thirty-six year sentence out of
Trousdale County for aggravated robbery and second degree murder.
Presley is a 33-year old white male with blue eyes,
brown hair and a medium complexion. He is 5'10" tall and
weighs approximately 220 lbs.
