LAWRENCE SCHUMAKER BACK IN CUSTODY

Nashville, Tenn. - A minimum trustee TDOC inmate that walked off from a work release site yesterday morning is back in custody.

Tennessee Department of Correction Internal Affairs agents apprehended Lawrence Dewaine Schumaker in the Madison area Tuesday evening at approximately 7:30 p.m.  He was immediately transported to Riverbend Maximum Security Institution and faces felony escape charges.
