COMMISSIONER GIVES "STAY OUT OF PRISON"
TALK
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Tennessee Department of
Correction Commissioner George Little will speak to students at
Northside High School in Memphis on Thursday, October 26th at 10:30 a.m.
The speech is part of the Legislative Youth Program to
be held in the library at Northside High School. It's a chance for
Commissioner Little to encourage young people to avoid crime and
prison. "Education makes all the difference in the world as
far as staying out of prison or jail," said Commissioner
Little. "I just want to emphasize the importance of staying
in school and making safer and more productive communities."
Media interested in attending the event should arrive at
the school's main office.
