2006 TENNESSEE SEX OFFENDER TREATMENT BOARD ANNUAL
TRAINING CONFERENCE
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Department of
Correction and the Sex Offender Treatment Board announce plans for the
annual Sex Offender Treatment Conference themed; "Sex Offender
Containment: Collaboration, Supervision and Treatment."
This year, the focus is on closing the gap between
professionals responsible for policy development, probation/parole
supervision and treatment.
"It is impossible to implement effective sex
offender containment without collaboration. The community needs
safety and justice; an enormous responsibility exists," said Sex
Offender Treatment Board, Presiding Officer Jeanine C. Miller, PhD.

Nationally known experts will deliver sessions on

The conference will be held from August 21-24, 2006 at
the Embassy Suites Hotel, Cool Springs.
