ESCAPEE WANTED

JACKSON, Tenn. - An escape warrant has been issued for the arrest of Tracy Bernard Mann.  Mann is a Department of Correction inmate who was sent to Texas on a detainer and inadvertently released from the state.

TDOC Internal Affairs investigators have made contact with Mann who also goes by the name Donald Cannon.  Mann has refused to turn himself in and is now being sought for escape.  He is believed to be in the West Tennessee area where he has family.  Mann is known to drive his mother's white 1996 Ford Taurus, license plate #020KQG.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tracy Bernard Mann is urged to contact the TDOC at (731) 255-6228 or your local law enforcement agency.

Mann has prior convictions of theft and drug possession.
