Victim Information and Services


The Tennessee Department of Correction is committed to assisting the victims of crime.  In line with that commitment, one of the Department's primary responsibilities is to keep victims and their family members informed of an offender's status.  One way to do this is through the Felony Offender Information Lookup, commonly referred to as FOIL.  This is a database that lists past and current offenders in our system.

Victims or their immediate family members may also access the VOICE system, which is a toll free phone service that's updated regularly with an offender's current status.
