The Department of Correction offers a 24 hour
a day toll free hotline for victims in need of offender information. The "Victim Offender
Information Caller Emissary", or VOICE
hotline, is a computerized system that allows victims to receive the
latest information about the offender who committed a crime against
them.
"VOICE" provides registered victims with the
following:
- Offender's current location within the system
- Date the
offender's sentence went into effect
- Sentence expiration date
- Date of parole eligibility
- Earliest date that an offender can be released under executive order
for overcrowding (most violent offenders are excluded from this
provision)
In order to register for the VOICE service, simply complete
a Victim/Interested Party
form. The form can be faxed to (615) 741-1055, emailed to Victim.Notification@tn.gov or mailed to the following
