We welcome you to the Volunteer Services web page. I'm
excited about the opportunity to get to tell you about volunteering with the
Tennessee Department of Correction. In the volunteer state, there are over
4,000 volunteers that give their time in Tennessee prisons.
We offer programs in the following areas:

Support Groups

Family Programs

many others...
Offenders also have the opportunity to exercise their religious
rights while incarcerated. Volunteers come in on a weekly basis to provide
worship services, and faith-based study groups for offenders.
