DMRS agency staff can also act as service coordinators for the children in their programs for the following reasons: During the collaborative IFSP team meeting, the family has the option of choosing a DMR agency/provider staff person to serve as ongoing service coordinator. For children who do not qualify as eligible under Part C of IDEA but are identified as eligible under DMRS eligibility criteria, will receive an agency/provider service coordinator who will ensure the implementation of the IFSP.
DMRS is dedicated to family centered intervention and believe in the empowerment of families to best assist their child. It is our goal to ensure the provision of quality individualized services to families and ensure the right of every child to receive the service(s) that he/she needs for optimal growth and development. The provision of quality EI services are designed to maximize and value the potential of each child. We believe in the need to educate and strengthen families and educate communities so that resources can be made available in collaborative efforts to help families and children.
