ECD is strategically aligned with the Tennessee Technology Development Corporation, a private, 501(c)(3) corporation created by State Legislature in 1998 and tasked with implementing an innovation-based economic development agenda throughout the state.

TTDC focuses on improving Tennessee’s research and development, entrepreneurial environment and venture capital formation to ensure Tennessee’s continued leadership in technology development.
