Research and Planning

The Research Section functions as a support arm for the Department of Economic and Community Development. Its main purpose is to identify, develop, maintain and disseminate the most complete, up to date business and economic data available in support of the department's mission to foster the growth of personal income in Tennessee through the creation of higher paying jobs.
