Public Outreach

Public Outreach program targets small businesses, local governments, and residential energy users with information that help them to make informed energy decisions.

Through the Division's toll-free energy hotline number, users are able to find the resources to better energy efficiency and conservation.

The Small Business Energy Loan Program, Local Government Energy Loan Program, and the TN Energy Education Network benefit energy consumers in Tennessee in energy savings with energy loans and grants.

The Outreach Program, although we do not have any loans or grants, does have several directions to assist the residential consumer in finding energy efficiency to promote savings and conservation

The Energy Division's Annual Report for state fiscal year 2005-06 contains the activities of the division's programs. It also contains the latest available energy statistics for the State of Tennessee pertaining to consumption, production and prices for coal, natural gas, petroleum and electricity.
