Reviewer Information 2008
Section II: English Grammar and Composistion K-12, Foreign Language K-12, and English as a Second Langugage K-12.
The Textbook Commission may appoint an advisory panel of expert teachers in each subject area or grade level to advise the commission on book selection.
We will be contracting directly with teachers to sit on this panel. The application process will be open to any teacher who meets the statutory requirements (now teaching or supervising the respective subject, proper endorsement, and three or more years of public school experience) for serving on the local adoption committee.
The Application has two sections. The first section are the forms required by the Textbook Commission. The second section contains the forms necessary for your contract with the state. Both Sections must be completed for consideration as a possible reviewer.
Reviewers will be selected by a committee composed of the subject area consultant, one or more commission members, and the director of textbook services. The list will then be submitted to the Textbook Commission for final approval.
