Program Review

The program review functions of an occupational advisory committee include:

• Assisting with long-range planning and the development of goals for the vocational education program;
• Assisting in evaluating the vocational education program by selecting appropriate evaluation activities, identifying needed data, and interpreting evaluation results;
• Reviewing program budget requests; and
• Advising instructor on the conduct of graduate follow-up studies

Instructors should perform as much of the preliminary groundwork as possible to save the time of occupational advisory committee members.
