DO . . . have clearly stated goals, identified projects, and formalized partnership plans.

DO . . . have periodic meetings to assess and monitor partnership activities.

DO . . . involve excited and committed people in partnership planning.

DO . . . provide visibility and recognition to the partnership and acknowledge partner’s contribution.

DO NOT . . . think of the partnership as an opportunity to have the school’s financial needs met.

DO NOT . . . let the spirit of cooperation and goodwill become an opportunity for commercialization of schools.
