Regional News

The staff of the Southeast Center of Regional Excellence are dedicated to providing support to districts that improve outcomes for students. This office is staffed with dedicated and highly qualified team members eager to deploy across the region.

Sharon Harper serves as the executive director. Harper has nearly 17 years of teaching and administrative experience in Tennessee schools. Prior to this role, she served as the Testing Coordinator and Data Analyst in Bradley County Schools.

Harper holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Lee University. She earned a masters of education in secondary English from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a masters of education in music from Shenandoah Conservatory and a doctorate in educational leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University.
