LEAD Conference

The annual LEAD Conference gives school and district leaders a chance to share and discuss effective practices happening every day in Tennessee schools. With valuable first-person examples, educators from across the state share their best ideas for preparing Tennessee's students for college and careers.

LEAD 2015

The LEAD Conference will take place Oct. 26-28 at the Music City Center in Nashville. The theme of the LEAD conference this year is Promise Ready. This year we will share information that can help schools maximize student success with sessions themed around the five areas of our strategic plan: early foundations, support educators, bridge to postsecondary, empower districts, and all means all.

We want to offer participants a diverse range of high quality options for content sessions and are seeking session proposals. We invite you to consider applying.

Please review this PDF before completing the online application; the PDF will inform you of the necessary information for completing the online application. To complete the Call for Proposals form, please click here. Proposals should be completed by 5 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, June 30. All applicants shall be notified if their proposal has been moved into the interview process by July 27. Short phone interviews will be completed and final notification will be sent by Aug. 12. Those selected to present at LEAD will be asked to prepare their presentation and complete a dress rehearsal phone call in September.

If you have additional questions, please email Lisa.Coons@tn.gov.

Hotels

We are currently working to setup conference rates at area hotels. Once we have that information, we will communicate via email to 2014 attendees and also post it here, on the LEAD website.

LEAD 2014
