State-Required Financial Reports

The following state-required financial reports are due from charter schools according to the schedule outlined below. There is a required reporting documents for items with an asterisk (*). Click the name of the report to access a copy of the required form. Charter schools that utilize the local education agency (LEA) as their fiscal agent, must report only items 4 through 7 to the state. All other reports from these charter schools are filed with the authorizing LEA.

4. Documentation of Surety Bond	August 1
5. Principals & Teachers Salary Schedule (for school year just beginning; as approved by charter school board)	August 1
6. Five Year Planning Budget* (due as required by the chartering authority) Five Year Planning Budget Cover Page*	October 1
7. Annual Audit (for fiscal year ending six months earlier-June 30)	December 31
