Each year, Tennessee tracks the performance of students across schools and districts. Individual data releases are organized below by release date. Aug. 22: 2012 Tennessee ACT scores released (press release)
The Tennessee Department of Education is requesting a Tydings waiver to extend its SRCL Formula Grant funds to Sept. 30, 2013. The purpose of this grant is to maintain a statewide Literacy Team to assist the department in developing and sustaining a comprehensive literacy plan.

All comments will be included in the state’s waiver requests to the U.S. Department of Education.
