Phase I - III: Ninety-nine school districts, three State Special Schools and the Department of Children’s Services are involved in live implementation of the SSMS (StarStudent and EasyIEP) during the 2006-07 school year. Phase III districts are in the process of completing data conversion for the Academic History module, the last component of the implementation process.

- The Project Team will conduct three regional Phase IV Kick-Off sessions across the state in mid-November that will provide the districts with an overview of the implementation rollout plan for data conversion and training, including a timeline and the expectations for making the transition to StarStudent and EasyIEP.
- Introductory AA (Application Administrator) WebEx training will begin in November 2006 followed by more detailed regional training for AA’s beginning in January of 2007.
- These districts will begin scheduling training in January 2007 in preparation for scheduling students into SSMS for the 2007-08 school year.
- Regional training sessions for EasyIEP administrators and end users are scheduled to begin in January 2007 as well.
- Additional StarStudent training will occur later in the school year and into the summer.
