All Phase I districts must use EasyIEP for the development and management of IEP information and for data/reporting purposes.

Districts in Phases II - IV must use EasyIEP for data/reporting purposes but are not required to use the IEP writer in EasyIEP.

  • The cost associated with using any IEP writer other than EasyIEP (data conversion, training, maintenance, and support), will be the responsibility of the district.

  • Districts that choose to convert to the IEP writer function in EasyIEP after the fact, will be responsible for data conversion and training costs. The SDE will pay maintenance and support costs.

•Non-SSMS districts must use EasyIEP for data/reporting purposes. The SDE will pay all costs.

•Non-SSMS districts that choose to use the IEP writer in EasyIEP are responsible for the data conversion and staff training costs. The SDE will pay maintenance and support costs.

NOTE : Enrollment in SSMS is ongoing. The status of districts that are/not participating in SSMS is as of July 15, 2004.
