  Donate your old cell phones.

Old cell phones can be donated to the "Call to Protect Wireless Phones For Domestic Safety". Call to Protect is a domestic violence prevention project to provide those in danger with instant access to help in the form of a wireless phone. CTIA member carrier, Motorola, and distribution management partner, Brightpoint, Inc., in cooperation with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV), provide free wireless phones and airtime to aid victims and their advocates. Call to Protect wireless phones are preprogrammed so that victims can reach help with the push of a button. For a victim living in fear of the next episode of domestic violence, this can make the difference between living in terror and having the strength to protect themselves from their attacker. Call to Protect also provides wireless phones to domestic violence professionals so they can reach victims report cases of abuse and contact emergency services. For more information, check their website.

  Donate your eye glasses.

Old eye glasses can be donated to the Lion's Club of America where your old prescription lenses can be a gift of sight. You can help someone in an underdeveloped country see! Give a simple gift of sight.  For more information, check their website.
