SPECIAL WINTER RATES AND GIFT CARDS AT TENNESSEE STATE PARKS:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee State Parks is now offering special rates for its 360 villas and cabins and at all six inns during the winter months.  From December 1, 2007 through February 29, 2008, state park lodging will be discounted with the presentation of a winter discount coupon.  Combine a Tennessee State Parks gift certificate – on sale now in select state parks – and you have the perfect gift for friends and family this giving season. 

With a Tennessee State Parks special winter discount coupon, park visitors can stay at one of Tennessee’s six state park inns for $45.95 a night (excludes appropriate taxes and no other discounts may be applied).  The offer is good seven days a week during the promotion. Groups who book their meetings and stay between December 1, 2007 and February 29, 2008, may also take advantage of this discount.  There is also a 50 percent discount for cabins – good Sunday through Thursday – with a two–night minimum stay. 

Guests must present a coupon upon check-in to receive the discount.  Reservations are not required, but are recommended to ensure availability.  Holidays are not included and certain other restrictions may apply.  To receive a coupon by mail, call the state park’s information line at (615) 532-0001 or toll free at (888) 867-2757.  Coupons may also be printed from our Web site at www.tnstateparks.com.

With a Tennessee State Parks gift certificate, you can treat friends and family to a meal, something from the gift shops, a night's stay in an inn, cabin or villa, a campsite, or even to a round of golf.  Gift certificates may be redeemed at any Tennessee State Park and can be purchased at the following select locations: 

• Fall Creek Falls Inn and Conference Center
• Henry Horton Inn and Conference Center
• Montgomery Bell Inn and Conference Center
• Natchez Trace Inn and Conference Center
• Paris Landing Inn and Conference Center
• Pickwick Landing Inn and Conference Center

The maximum limit for gift certificates is $250 for one gift certificate, with a minimum amount of $10. When redeemed, less than 25% of the gift certificate can be refunded in cash.
