Join Us for the Skeet & Eat Promotion

Beginning on the first Saturday in February and going through March, the trap and skeet range will be offering a 20% discount on rounds each Saturday morning, 8am to 12pm. In addition to shooting trap and skeet, participating shooters can take the skeet receipt to the restaurant for a 20% discount on breakfast or lunch any Saturday during this promotion. Not valid with any other specials, coupons or discount offers.

Henry Horton State Park is well known for their championship 18-hole golf course, inn and cabins, campgrounds and trap and skeet range. The 1,140-acre park has three hiking trails where you may see a variety of wildlife such as wild turkey, deer and many kinds of wildflowers. Summer months bring hours of family enjoyment whether it's swimming in our Olympic-sized pool, fishing along the Duck River, playing volleyball or basketball, or having a picnic, Henry Horton State Park has a lot to offer.

Conference Facilities

The Conference/Meeting Lodge can accommodate 160 people when arranged classroom style or 200 arranged in the theater style. Kitchen facilities are available at the lodge. There are four meeting rooms in the inn with 2,000 sq. ft of space to accommodate from 15-90 people. The Conference Lodge with 3,150 sq. ft of meeting space is located in a separate building near the inn and is used for large meetings up to 300 people.

Restaurant

Henry Horton Restaurant is a family restaurant capable of seating 255 people and includes two private dining areas. It serves an outstanding southern cuisine buffet along with special catered meals and banquets.  Check out our banquet menu guide for more information.

Lodging

Henry Horton State Park offers a variety of accommodation options. The Park Inn is very popular with golfers, vacationing families, conferences, and small conventions, and offers 65 inn rooms and four suites.

The park also offers 5 rustic cabins and 3 deluxe cabins, all within walking distance of the hotel. There are 72 campsites, all situated near the scenic Duck River. There are 10 primitive sites recommended for tents only, and a large group site for primitive camping.

Activities

There's a lot to do and see at Henry Horton State Park! Duck River anglers can catch largemouth and smallmouth bass, red-eye, and catfish, among many other species. Various canoe floats, festivals and celebrations are available year-round, with other programs on request.

Henry Horton State Park also boasts an 18-hole 72 par golf course and a professional trap and skeet range! Nearby attractions include the Jack Daniels Distillery and Historic Bell Buckle. Click a link below for photos and more information on that activity.

Historical

Set in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee, the park is located on the former estate of the late Henry H. Horton, 36th governor of Tennessee. The park is located on the shores of the historic Duck River, the longest stretch of free flowing river in Tennessee. Remnants of a mill and bridge operated and used by Horton's spouse's family for over a century may be seen today on the Wilhoite Mill Trail.

Gift Shop

The inn has a gift shop containing toiletries, T-Shirts, books, caps, birdhouses, and many Tennessee-made crafts.

Tour bus information

Tour Buses and Motor Coaches are welcome. Please call in advance to request programs. Group room rates and group meals are also available with advance reservations.
