The Lead Hazard Control projects of the State of Tennessee’s Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Program will involve a combination of Interim Control and Abatement. The Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Program projects are not remodeling and home improvement projects.
(14) Lead-Based Paint Activities Requirements.
Lead-based paint activities, as defined in the Act, shall only be conducted according to the procedures and work practice standards contained in paragraph (8) of this Rule. No individual or firm may offer to perform or perform any lead-based paint activity, unless certified and properly registered by the Commissioner to perform that activity according to the procedures in paragraph (7) of this Rule.
Project Bids should follow guidelines established in Lead-Based Paint Abatement Chapter 1200-1-18 (page 24)
