When the division publishes new documents it occasionally makes other distribution via the US mail, or electronic mail, but more frequently it uses the power of the Internet to disseminate information. The most recently published versions of rule interpretations, guidance documents and policy documents affecting the regulated community will be found on our website, so it would be wise to make it a habit of checking back frequently.

Annual Solid/Hazardous Waste Conference and Exhibition

This event is held annually in April or May at the Gatlinburg Convention Center in Gatlinburg, This conference is sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and the Tennessee Division of Solid Waste Management. The Division of UST will have a 1-1/2 day session at this conference. Topics to be covered include recent and proposed legislation, the Tennessee Risk Based Corrective Action program, Corrective Action Alternatives and Compliance Issues.
