CLINCH RIVER WATERSHED
| The Clinch River watershed contains parts of Anderson, Knox, Loudon, Morgan, Roane and Union Counties and drains 628 square miles before emptying into Watts Bar Reservoir. The watershed supports both small farms and light industry, with heavy industry occurring in urban areas. Boating, fishing and watersports are popular. |

The Transylvania Land Company explored and surveyed Tennessee in the 1700s. The Clinch River watershed bears the name of one of these first explorers to see the river.
