| Located along the Alabama border, the Lower Elk River watershed includes parts of Franklin, Lawrence and Lincoln Counties in Tennessee and drains 236 miles before flowing into Alabama. Swine and dairy farms dot the landscape, and the areas rich timber supply supports lumber mills as a basic industry. |
